CLASSES
There are a variety of classes available at HS Fitness Studio to suit everybody from beginners to lifelong gym goers. Each class will be taught with progressions and regressions depending on your physical and fitness abilities. Please read the class description before booking to see if the class is suitable for your goals and abilities, and use the contact page to ask any questions you have. There is a maximum capacity to each class so please book ahead of time and if you are more than 5 mins late to the class you will not be able to join. Please note that the downstairs studio is 2m high so if you are tall teachers will have to adapt exercises/classes accordingly!
Classes are £15 pay as you go or £12.50 for a block of 10 to be used within 12 weeks.

Want to test and enhance your body’s energy systems? Join this conditioning class designed to improve overall athletic capacity, stamina, and power. Through a mix of functional movements, interval training, and structured work-to-rest ratios, you’ll challenge your aerobic and anaerobic systems, boost metabolic efficiency, and elevate your conditioning to the next level. Expect a fast-paced, performance-driven session that leaves you fitter, faster, and more resilient. Great to combine this with our Built to Last or Press Hard Play Hard strength sessions in your weekly schedule.

MONDAY 12PM AND FRIDAY 1PM
A women’s only class focused on strength and conditioning to help combat the affects of ageing, related to changes in hormones. Strength training increases muscle mass and bone density, reducing the likelihood of osteoporosis and (with correct nutrition) improves body composition and mental health.
All ages and abilities are welcome
Hatha Yoga (Unwind & Restore)

TUESDAY: 7:15PM
This Hatha yoga class is designed to help you unwind from the day and reset both body and mind. Classes are calmly paced and focus on mindful movement, breath awareness, and safe, accessible postures.
You can expect a well-structured practice that builds strength and mobility gently, with options and modifications offered throughout. The class finishes with relaxation to help you leave feeling grounded, lighter, and ready for a good night’s rest.
Suitable for:
Beginners, returners to yoga, and those looking for a slower-paced, supportive evening practice. No prior yoga experience required.
Beginners build and bloom

TUESDAY 12PM
This is for those who have not used weights before, who are returning from injury or those who have had a long hiatus from exercise. As this is a beginners class the tempo will be slowed down with the main focus being on form, learn the technique for the common exercises whilst being in an environment where there are no stupid questions. You will still feel like you’ve exercised but without the feeling of being overwhelmed or judged.
Mum & Baby Inspired Flow

A gentle, feel-good 45-minute class designed just for you, Mum.
This is a Pilates-inspired session focused on rebuilding strength, improving posture, and helping you reconnect with your body after pregnancy all in a relaxed, supportive environment where your baby is completely welcome.
Your little one can lay beside you, play safely, or even be part of some of the movements while you move through a smooth flow of stretches and controlled strength work.
We’ll focus on:
-Rebuilding your core safely (including abdominal separation)
-Improving posture & relieving tension
-Strengthening glutes, back & pelvic stability
- Gentle mobility and stretch work to help you feel good again.
BUILT TO LAST

Strength class designed to build muscular endurance and functional strength through progressive training methods. The sessions combine targeted resistance work, controlled tempo training, and movement patterns that support real-life strength. Expect structured progressions helping you move better, feel stronger, and develop a resilient, capable body.
PRESS HARD PLAY HARD

THURSDAY: 8AM
An intermediate/intense class for those who already have a general understanding of strength training and exercises. The focus of this class is to improve strength so barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells and the cable machine will be used. There will be times where you will be partnered up during this class, whilst one person is lifting the other is resting etc, to make the class more efficient.
Hatha Yoga (Unwind into the Weekend)

FRIDAY: 5PM
A welcoming Hatha yoga class to help you transition out of the working week and into the weekend. This class offers a balanced practice that gently releases tension from the body while maintaining a steady, accessible flow.
Classes focus on alignment, breath, and mindful movement, helping to improve flexibility, strength, and body awareness. You’ll leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, and re-energised rather than overworked.
Suitable for:
All levels, including beginners. Ideal for those wanting to move, stretch, and reset after the week without an intense workout.
SATURDAY CIRCUITS

SATURDAY 9AM
Circuit classes for the weekend warriors, sweat out the sins of the night before or feel smug knowing you’ve earned that Sunday roast. 50min circuit class that you can go at your own speed, push hard to improve your strength, cardio and core fitness or simply get the blood flowing again. Kettlebells, dumbbells, bodyweight and cardio machines will be used.

A space where you can move your body, rebuild your strength and feel like you again… all whilst your little one is right by your side 🤍
Your baby can safely lay, play or chill whilst you train no pressure, no stress, just a supportive environment where you can focus on yourself for that hour.
We focus on:
• Rebuilding strength (especially core & pelvic floor)
• Low impact but effective fat loss
• Improving energy, confidence & fitness
• Moving in a way that feels good for your body postpartum
